Background:
You and your party have been hired by a tribe of barbarians to retrieve a valuable treasure from a nearby cave. As you make your way through the cave, you come across a puzzle that you must solve in order to proceed.
The Puzzle:
In front of you is a large stone door with a series of levers and gears along the bottom. Above the door is a message written in barbarian: “Only the strongest can pass through this door. Prove your strength by lifting the heavy stone slab and placing it on the pedestal.”
To the right of the door is a heavy stone slab, and to the left is a pedestal.
Solution:
To solve the puzzle, you must lift the heavy stone slab and place it on the pedestal. This will demonstrate your strength and earn the respect of the barbarian tribe. You may need to use teamwork and strategize with your party members in order to lift the slab and place it on the pedestal. Once the slab is in place, the door will open, allowing you to continue on your quest for the treasure.
While this puzzle seems very simple, there are many ways to solve it. You could make the slab too heavy to be lifted by strength alone. Maybe the players can summon creatures to help, or they might have to build a lever. You can make this challenge as easy or hard as you wish.
